Sony Bonus Prepaid Digital Mastercard

  1. 1. Instructions on how to claim the rewards form part of these Terms and 
    Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these 
    Terms and Conditions. This promotion is for a non-reloadable Sony Prepaid
    Digital Mastercard® of up to $300.00 in value via redemption from an 
    authorised third party by each eligible claimant (a person who meets the 
    requirements of these Terms and Conditions) who purchases an Eligible 
    Product from a participating Sony Australia authorised dealer during the 
    Purchase Period and submits their Online Claim Form during the Redemption 
    Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Offer is not valid in 
    conjunction with any other offer.
  2. 2. Claims are only open to Australian residents who are 18 years and older. 
    Claimants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to claim 
    and further, the parent/guardian of the claimant must read and consent to 
    these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the 
    Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the 
    minor submitting a claim in this promotion.
    3. Promotion commences at 12:01AM AEST on 1 May 2024 and closes for 
    purchases at 11:59PM AEST on 30 June 2024 (“Purchase Period”). The 
    right to claim under the promotion is effective from 12:01AM AEST on 1 May
    2024 and final claims close at 11:59PM AEST on 14 July
    2024 (“Redemption Period”).
    4. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase either outright or with 
    retailer finance, an Eligible Product (as defined in clause 6) from a 
    participating Sony Australia authorised dealer during the Purchase Period 
    (availability of Eligible Product may vary between authorised dealers 
    participating in this promotion) and the purchase must not have been made 
    under any other offer or discount provided by a participating Sony Australia 
    authorised dealer (“Qualifying Purchase”). Participating Sony Australia 
    authorised dealers for this promotion are listed in the Appendix to these 
    Terms and Conditions, in addition to the official Sony Australia eBay Store (on 
    brand new products only, excludes any refurbished products), the official 
    Sony Australia Store on Amazon Marketplace, Sony Store Online and Sony 
    Stores (Castle Hill, Chatswood and Parramatta).
    a. Lay-by and purchases from duty-free, discounted or clearance 
    eBay sales, refurbished products from the official Sony Australia 
    eBay store, parallel import stores and second-hand 
    purchases/retailers are excluded from this promotion.
    b. Claims from, or on behalf of businesses or resellers (i.e. 
    distributors or retailers) are not eligible for this promotion. Only 
    claimants who are ‘end-users’ of the Eligible Product are entitled to 
    claim under this promotion. For the purpose of this promotion, ‘enduser’ means “Consumer” as defined in the Australian Consumer Law.
    5. Please allow up to 3 business days from completing your claim for it to be 
    checked, to be reviewed and approved. Once approved, you will receive an 
    email notification. Please allow up to 10 working days for your Sony Prepaid 
    Digital Mastercard to be sent to your nominated email address and/or mobile

    7. To claim, individuals must then complete the following steps:
    a. subject to subclause f. and g. below, 
    visit and follow the prompts 
    to the promotion claim page, completing and submitting the online form 
    (“Online Claim Form”) within the Redemption Period. This includes:
    1. loading (a) an image or copy of the proof of purchase document 
    (such as a receipt or tax invoice) for the Eligible Product and (b) 
    an image of the Eligible Product serial number that is stamped 
    on the physical product; and
    2. inputting the requested details, including title, full legal name, 
    post code, contact number, current and valid email address, 
    name of Eligible Product purchased, Qualifying Purchase date, 
    Qualifying Purchase tax invoice or receipt number, retailer 
    where Eligible Product was purchased, and the Eligible Product 
    serial number. 
    The name of the claimant on the Online Claim Form must match the 
    name on the proof of purchase document. If any of the details 
    submitted as part of the proof of purchase documentation do not match 
    the Online Claim Form details submitted by the claimant and received 
    by the Promoter, the claim will be deemed invalid.
    b. If any of the uploaded images / documents submitted are incomplete, 
    individuals will receive an email from the Promoter (to the email 
    address nominated on their Online Claim Form), requesting them to 
    resupply an updated image or copy of the proof of purchase document 
    and/or an image of the serial number to verify their Qualifying Purchase 
    (“Claim Email”).
    c. Once all required documentation has been received (by no later than 
    14 July 2024) and the claim has been validated and approved, please 
    allow up to 10 working days for you Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard to 
    be sent to your nominated email address and/or mobile number. 
    d. If, due to an error by the successful claimant, the Promoter emails the 
    Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard to an incorrect email address and/or 
    mobile number, the Promoter will not be responsible or liable to the 
    successful claimant to reissue a replacement Prepaid Digital 
    Mastercard to the successful claimant in order to rectify the error.
    e. The successful claimant agrees that he or she will not bring a claim 
    against the Promoter, its employees, directors, agents and, or 
    contractors (including its related bodies corporate and/or its related 
    bodies corporates’ employees, agents or contractors) to recover the 
    redemption amount equivalent to their Prepaid Digital Mastercard 
    mistakenly sent to the wrong email address due to the error of the 
    successful claimant.
    f. Any claimants that are unable to complete the claim process online 
    utilising the Online Claim Form (as outlined above) may contact the 
    Promoter within the Redemption Period (or by a time otherwise 
    stipulated by the Promoter) via email to 
    arrange an alternative method of claim submission.
    g. If a claimant is unable to provide the receipt/tax invoice number and/or 
    serial number of the Eligible Product at the time of submitting the 
    Online Claim Form due to the Eligible Product being on back order 
    (that is, paid for but not received by the claimant), the claimant must 
    provide the receipt or tax invoice number and receipt or tax invoice 
    number image and/or the serial number and serial number image to the 
    Promoter by updating their Online Claim Form by 31 July 2024 to 
    finalise their claim.
    8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.
    9. Multiple claims are permitted, subject to the following:
    a. Each claimant and/or household will be limited to claim up to a 
    maximum of 4 total Eligible Products; and
    b. only one (1) valid claim permitted per Eligible Product purchased (i.e. 
    per product serial number and/or store invoice issued) and a valid proof 
    of purchase must accompany each Eligible Product.
    10.Claimants must retain their original proof of purchase document(s) (including 
    eftpos receipt unless paid in cash) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure 
    to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the 
    absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of the 
    claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a reward. Proof of purchase 
    document(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase, that an Eligible 
    Product was purchased, and that the purchase was made during the 
    Purchase Period but prior to claim submission.
    11.Any claims submitted to the Promoter where the purchase was made under 
    another offer or discount by another participating Sony Australia authorised 
    dealer, will not be valid.
    Use of Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard
    12.The Prepaid Digital Mastercard is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited 
    ABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131 pursuant to license by Mastercard. T&Cs 
    apply. Mastercard and the circles design are registered trademarks of 
    Mastercard International Incorporated.
    13.The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to the following terms and 
    a. Upon receiving a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard, individuals must 
    download and activate the card within 3 months. Upon activation, the 
    Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard will be valid for 12 months.
    b. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard can be used for purchasing 
    goods and services where Mastercard prepaid cards are accepted for 
    electronic transactions (excluding transactions at ATMs or over the 
    counter at financial institutions). 
    c. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a Sony Prepaid Digital 
    Mastercard are not included. Any unused balance of a Sony Prepaid 
    Digital Mastercard will not be awarded as cash returned. Redemption 
    of a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to any terms and 
    conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Sony Prepaid 
    Digital Mastercard.
    d. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard does not have cash out 
    capability. It cannot be used to withdraw cash.
    e. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is not reloadable.
    f. Redemption of the Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to the 
    standard terms and conditions, full terms and conditions for the use of 
    a Prepaid Digital Mastercard can be found at (under the heading “Tokenised 
    Prepared Mastercard Terms and Conditions”).
    g. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard redemption for this Promotion is
    administered by Think Wink Pty Ltd (ABN 59 640 766 310). The card is 
    issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited (ABN 30 131 436 532) 
    AFSL 404131 (“EML”) pursuant to license by Mastercard Asia/Pacific 
    Pte. Ltd. and distributed by TCN Group Pty Limited ABN 87 626 501 
    568 (“The Card Network”) or (“TCN”) EML has authorised The Card 
    Network to arrange for the issue of the card. 
    h. Think Wink Pty Ltd will handle participants personal information in 
    accordance with the terms of its Privacy Policy at:
    14.Claimants can only participate in the promotion in their own name. The 
    Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and 
    claimant’s details (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) 
    and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who 
    the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and 
    Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or 
    other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of 
    the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's sole 
    discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage 
    does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter reserves its legal 
    rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
    15.If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the 
    right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
    16.The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the bonus Prepaid Digital 
    Mastercard from any claimant, or to request payment for the value of the 
    Prepaid Digital Mastercard amount where it has been partially or fully 
    redeemed by the claimant or is no longer in the possession of the claimant, if 
    an Eligible Product is returned (and the claimant receives a partial or full 
    refund of the purchase price of the Eligible Product) after the claimant’s entry 
    has been processed and the bonus Prepaid Digital Mastercard has been 
    successfully transferred.
    17.The Promoter’s decision on any matter in connection with these Terms and 
    Conditions is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
    18.Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website remain the 
    responsibility of each claimant and are dependent on the internet service 
    provider used.
    19.The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions, or to 
    modify, suspend, reschedule or terminate this promotion, where it is 
    reasonably necessary to protect its legitimate interests. In addition, the 
    Promoter may modify or extend the dates for the promotion (including the 
    Purchase Period and/or Redemption Period) at its discretion. Where these 
    changes occur, the changes will be communicated in advance (unless a 
    genuinely urgent requirement means that prior notice cannot be 
    communicated) on the website where these Terms and Conditions appear 
    ( and on the Promoter’s social 
    media pages.
    20.If a claimant is under the age of 18 years, the reward will be awarded to the 
    claimant's nominated parent or guardian on the successful claimant’s behalf.
    21.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being 
    conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the 
    reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical 
    difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, 
    in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to disqualify any 
    claimant, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
    22.The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic 
    means that allow a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited 
    and will render all claims submitted by that claimant invalid.
    23.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or 
    purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees set 
    out in the Australian Consumer Law of the Competition and Consumer 
    Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC 
    Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of 
    Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”).
    24.Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, 
    employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability 
    (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage 
    (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or 
    consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or 
    equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any 
    theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, 
    lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the 
    Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; 
    (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; (e) taking/use of a reward or (f) any 
    other way connected with this promotion.
    25.The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the 
    promotion, marketing activities, and for product registration purposes. It may, 
    for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to 
    agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers (including such third 
    parties who may be outside of Australia). Participation in this promotion and 
    claiming is conditional on providing this PI. To manage this promotion, 
    including, but not limited to, administering and processing the promotional 
    Prepaid Digital Mastercard payment in accordance with these Terms and 
    Conditions, the Promoter utilises an authorised third party vendor to process 
    PI and takes all reasonable steps to ensure that such third party vendor 
    protects the security of claimants’ PI. The Promoter will also use and handle 
    PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed 
    at In addition to any use that 
    may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an 
    indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, 
    marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending 
    electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. The Privacy Policy also 
    contains information about how claimants may opt out, access, update or 
    correct their PI, how claimants may complain about a breach of the Australian 
    Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will 
    be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
    26.These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South 
    Wales. Each claimant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts 
    of New South Wales.
